DTU

DTU is short for Desktop Unit. Jargon for the actual Sun Ray Client. Different DTUs include the original and EOL'd Sun Ray 1, Sun Ray 100, Sun Ray 150, the recently (Sept 2006) EOL'd Sun Ray 1g and Sun Ray 170, and the Current Sun Ray 2, Sun Ray 2FS, and the Sun Ray 270.

While the 1g and 170 are relative newcomers to the Sun Ray product line, RoHS forced their early retirement and the creation of the RoHS compliant Sun Ray 2 Series.
